What We Collect

MarketShack collects minimal data to operate the service:

Search queries — We log anonymized search queries (the text you type) to improve our search engine. No personally identifiable information (PII) is attached to these logs. No IP addresses, user IDs, or cookies are stored with queries.
Reactions — When you react to a disclosure (emoji buttons), we store a hashed, non-reversible identifier to limit one reaction per person. We do not store your IP address.
Cookies — We use localStorage (not cookies) to remember your theme preference (light/dark) and recent searches. This data never leaves your browser.

What We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect personal information (name, email, phone number)
We do not use tracking cookies or fingerprinting
We do not sell, share, or trade any data with third parties
We do not require account registration

Third-Party Services

Google AdSense: This site displays advertisements served by Google. Google may use cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on your prior visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings. See Google's ad policy for details.

Since we do not collect personal information, most provisions regarding data subject rights (access, correction, deletion) do not apply.
